Our Team

Mara Hughes
Co-owner
Mara is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Certified Ohio Behavioral Analyst (COBA) with 20+ years in behavior analysis, specializing in evidence-based interventions for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental needs. She holds a Master’s in Psychology and has expertise in managed care, insurance, and advocacy. Mara focuses on ethical, client-centered care and supports individuals of all ages to increase independence in their daily lives. Mara is passionate about individualized care, whole family support, and increasing access to community environments for individuals of all abilities. Outside of professional work, Mara enjoys volunteering with Autism on the Seas and Team Rubicon as well as supporting local sporting events in her community. She also enjoys hiking, scuba-diving, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Lacey Godfrey
Co-owner
Lacey is a licensed Occupational Therapist who has experience working in multiple settings supporting individuals of all ages with a variety of medical, intellectual, and developmental needs. Lacey has a master’s degree in occupational therapy. She is a certified sleep consultant and potty training consultant from the Institute of Pediatric Sleep & Parenting. Outside of her professional career, Lacey travels with Autism on the Seas, supporting families on vacation. She is a group leader for this company and is passionate about traveling and assisting families and individuals with special needs in this capacity. She is dedicated to helping individuals gain independence in their daily lives by providing a holistic treatment approach. She strives to build relationships and provide quality support to all of her clients. Lacey also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, hiking, and crafting.
